How strong is the protection?
The copy is encrypted with AES-256, the strongest PDF encryption. A long password you use nowhere else is what keeps it safe.
What if I forget the password?
It cannot be recovered, by us or by anyone. Keep it somewhere safe, or keep the original file.
Is my password sent anywhere?
No. The file is encrypted in this browser tab; neither the PDF nor the password is uploaded.
